    氧化（Homo)处理.这种表面处理方法对容易产生融着的软粘材料作深孔螺纹加工有效。
　氧化（Homo）处理是将工具于500～550ºC的水蒸汽中加热30～60分钟，使工具表面上生成Fe3O4层，此  是一种氧化处理法，其氧化皮膜的厚度在1～3µ的范围。此皮膜因是多孔质的原故，能保持住切削油减少摩擦热，有防止丝攻表面融着的效果。

    经过热处理和为防止溶著而进行了HOMO处理的先端丝攻.适合不锈钢,耐热钢,合金钢等的通孔.
